Brand New Tokunbo.com

Chris, a young man in Lagos, signed up with Tokunbo.com a few months ago. site here. He had some items to sell online. These items include watches, laptops, and cameras. Though a few of these items have been used, he hopes to make some money
by putting them up auction on the website.

Do you need to sell anything? why not log on Tokunbo and display your item?
This website does exactly what eBay does, providing a platform for both sellers
and bidders. eBay proved to be the trailblazer in this type of online
marketplace in which millions of people make money daily selling anything from
antiques to newly made items.

Online whiz kids of the West have proved beyond any doubt that innovation
connected with netpreneurship can pour fabulous wealth into the laps of the
daring treasure-seeking e-biz manager. Founders of Google com came up with an
excellent idea they called Google Adword in the late 90`s and soon, the online
company became a household name with share price that went up to $750 last year,
a price higher than that of many offline businesses!

EBay is another online success where people from different walks of life have
sold items like jewelries, laptops, cars and truck, even artworks of different
sort. Many of eBay sellers have been able to sell stuffs on the site thereby
making money full-time.

In the vicinity of Lagos, a foremost city in Nigeria where novelty is never in
want, a netpreneur (name) has set up an online auction website known as
Tokunbo.com. Who says that because an online portal is the first means it’s
going to be the best? If eBay could generate revenue in excess of 700 billion
Naira, nothing stops Tokunbo from performing the same feat. This is true when
you take a look at what Tokunbo.com has put in place to prove to any critic that
she isn’t just another patch of cloud on a rainy day.

On this website, anyone, no matter the location, can put up items for sale in
the form of an auction. Buyers bid for the items and the highest bidder beats
rivals to the purchase. The setting presents no difficulties for those familiar
with goings-on of eBay. However, that’s not all, as anyone can suggest further
categories of products to list on the website, which I think is a flexible
option for the webmasters in allowing members to have a free hand in shaping the
future of Tokunbo--a step that can lead to quick acceptance and success of the
marketplace.

Overview of Tokunbo.com
What does every successful online business mogul put in place before making his
website accessible to the public? It is trust and customer satisfaction.
www.tokunbo.com.ng, which at the present time seem to be the first online
marketplace in West Africa has done just that. How? Sellers and buyers online
can negotiate deals with the minimum friction. This should not be hard to do
since the creators of the portal are following closely in the footsteps of
eBay.com. Even in a country where widespread online fraud and theft is rife, the
brains behind the website have done their homework in making sure that all
transactions should be carried out without the fear of misdemeanant acts of
snake oil businessmen. To help keep you safe when buying and selling, eBay
includes tools such as feedback, a valuable indicator of your reputation for
buying and selling on the marketplace, and Buyer Protection Programmes, which
are educational resources for shopping online safely. We hope Tokunbo does the same.

Take another look at the website and you’ll see that some people have already
signed up on Tokunbo.com. Nothing on the Worldwide Web can be dry an
uninteresting as long as the web webmaster knows how to promote his stuff.

Oftentimes e-biz managers, agree that the successful marketer knows how to dole
out gifts like the candy man. Wherever you look online, the successful
billionaires have always done a good job of offering free services on their
website. Yahoo offers free and paid e-mail services. Tokunbo`s large heart should
make it possible for listing of many items. Well, it appears that Tokunbo.com.ng
also offers few items for free. These include jewelries and other items such as
laptops, mobile phones, watches and a host of others. Many of these items can be
listed based on category fees, which suggest that the webmasters also know how
to make money online. So Tokunbo isn’t going to be a dot bombsite that will
never make a dime.

Further, the website has a payment processor known as Payasyouget.com which
utilises Interswitch, Escrow and bank transfers here in Nigeria, as well as in
all parts of the world. Actually, it looks like another kind of Paypal. These
mediums shouldn’t be too hard for any Nigerian to use. However, the user must
be aware of the charges involved in each transactions so that disputes get
reduced to the minimum. In regard to the safety of your transactions on
Payasyouget, there is no need for fear since that had been carefully taken care
of by the webmasters. Practical enough, the website is simple, without frills or
desire to show-off and at the same time making it easy to navigate. Surely no
one would want list items on this site without first reading through the FAQ and
Terms and Condition link situated below the homepage.

Challenges
eBay had her share of difficult times. Of course, we don’t expect to get the
kind of shock that Americans got early in the year 2000, when bizarre human
parts were listed for sale on the site. Even then, that didn’t chase the
visitors away--they kept coming back. However, the kind of challenges that
Tokunbo could face in the imminent future is that of dubious sellers of
counterfeit goods on the site. Government’s laws and regulation could stifle
the growth of the marketplace if this is allowed and buyers can easily be scared
away.

At one time, sellers and cyber reporters accused eBay of raising fees in other
to extract more money, but that as well didn’t stifle the growth of the online
company. The webmasters were quick to argue that it was to encourage sellers to
be more targeted in listing items on the website. But some IT watchers have
stated that Nigeria’s Tokunbo may not fall into the category of online brands
that would hit the rock.

To help keep you safe when buying and selling, eBay includes tools such as
feedback, a valuable indicator of your reputation for buying and selling on
eBay, and Buyer Protection Programmes, which are educational resources for
shopping online safely.

Added as a recipe for its success is the need for the webmasters to continually
overhaul the website, creating interesting and new avenues or products for
visitors at the right time. No business survives these days without upgrading of
some sorts. The website must always be quick to load, links must be working
properly, and the webmasters must maintain the flexibility of feedback and
support for their clients.

With much effort on the part of Tokunbo.com`s creators, hard work will
definitely mean success and Nigerians can`t wait to see a dot com company get
listed on its Stock Exchange.

Chinese Business: Another Crap?

China takes over the world in 380 days. That sounds pretty much like a cartoon series we all know very well. But in the real sense, China seem to be taking over the world albeit slowly. many countries in Africa have had their share of Chinese products infiltrating the market.

One question that always come to my mind is: How good is Chinese business or products? Maybe Japan`s electronic products are better than that of China. Maybe--or what do you think? I think so, really. Then how come these guys manage to take over the market and the business so easily? Heaven knows.

the other day, I read in Times magazine how American business are getting sold to foreign firms--Chinese included. I have my own fears and not all humans feel the way I do, since some notable people in the United States have already commented that business sales is one thing that America really needed.

However, I think that if Chinese goods which I think are not that sophisticated but easily penetrate other markets; are allowed to rule the world, then the human race will moving backward. Everywhere around me I see their products from electronic phone chargers to electric stove cookers and I can testify that these things which many people would rather die than forgo are not really worth our time and money.

वही बोर्रो तो मके मनी?

What are the best types of ways to invest your money? Is it in online business? Or is it in the stock market? I have it said that taking loans make for a great investment. Is it true? Consider this!

Perhaps it can be great for those who intend to own a home and then sell it later. But I still don`t see it as a good investment.Yes It can, if you can wait until the investment really yields its worth [it could take longer than expected]

Consider VA Loan Guaranty Service, the organization within the Veterans Benefits Administration, charged with the responsibility of administering the home loan program especially designed for people in the United States.

Programs like this enable people to purchase homes with the needed information they need to minimise risks and hassles. You just cannot cannot purchase a home on a loan and expect to make money. Other vital aspects of success in clude your own consideration of low interest rates, low monthly payments and tax deductions.

But for those who really know how to do it? home loans can be a viable way of investing one`s money.
