Many foreign businesses are trying to buy over stragegic markets in the U.S. Time magazine called it the yard sale. As also noted, it has been going on for a while. Some of the businesses bought have included Chrysler Building, all American Brewer of Budweiser. Over t5he past 5 years, other businesses bought have included: Alcon, KeySpan Corp, GE`s plastic division and some others, so-to-speak.
Many of the buyers think that this move is good one, since dollar is cheap now. Some have reiterated the hope that it will rise in the near future with full confidence. But what if expectations are not that positive? What implication can the move bring about for the buyers and the sellers?
Joseph Quinlan said that it will help create income and jobs for Americans. He appears to be very positive that these trends will bring to the fore the flow that United States need.
Since other economies are already coming up strong against the U.S, I`m so certain that these move should be curtailed as in the case of Abertis`s desire to get possession of Turnpike, which the state legislature has turned down. More of such moves must expected as it can be detriment to the United States` been overrun with foreign business and investments
